My beloved friends, life often presents us with difficult choices that test our faith and values. As children of God, we can turn to His holy word for guidance when facing uncertain roads.
The scriptures provide profound examples of biblical figures who sought the Lord’s direction when confronted by impactful decisions. Moses ascended Mount Sinai to commune with God before leading the Israelites out of captivity. Esther bravely chose to approach the king, risking her life for the sake of her people. Jesus himself withdrew to the garden at Gethsemane, praying in anguish before submitting to God’s plan.
In times of decision, we would do well to emulate their humility, courage and surrender. The Lord promises that if we acknowledge Him, He will make our paths straight. He will give us the wisdom to choose rightly if we but ask in earnest.
God also counsels us to wait patiently for clear direction. As the Creator of all things, He sees the fullness of time and space – realities that evade our human eyes. The Lord works to reveal His purposes on His schedule.
When confronted by difficult options, we can have confidence that the Lord’s guiding hand remains upon us. He promises to give us insight, illuminate our thinking and direct our choices, if we sincerely seek His face.
Dear friends, now let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about making tough decisions.
