Dear friends, God desires to have a close relationship with each of us. Though He is infinite and all-powerful, He cares for us individually and wants us to know Him personally.
When we spend time with God in prayer, reading His Word, and worshiping Him, we experience His presence and peace. Jesus said “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me.” God is eagerly waiting for us to invite Him into our lives and make time for Him.
God loves it when we come to Him with open and honest hearts and when we pour out our cares and concerns to Him. He knows our struggles and wants to comfort us in times of need. The Bible says we can “approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Though God is invisible, when we talk to Him it’s as real as speaking to a close friend. He delights in our voices lifted up to Him. The more we pursue God, the more we realize how vast and amazing His love is for us. He promises to always be with us when we walk with Him daily.
Dear friends now let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about spending time with God.
