Dear friends, the path we take in life matters greatly. There are many temptations that can lead us astray, but God promises wisdom and guidance to those who seek Him. Throughout the Bible, we see examples of righteous men and women who made wise choices, even when it was difficult.
Joseph fled temptation and maintained integrity, Daniel resolved in his heart not to defile himself, and Joshua declared “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
When facing decisions, we can ask for discernment and study the Scriptures, which are “a lamp unto our feet.” Bathed in prayer, even fleece-like signs can make God’s will clear.
Though the will of God may sometimes be challenging, He supplies the grace and strength we need to stay the course. We are assured “My yoke is easy and my burden is light.” As the roads of life split constantly, we fix eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
God rewards those who walk blamelessly and delights in the way of the righteous. His promises sustain us through seasons of hardship. Even when we stumble, He is patient and ready to forgive and redirect our path.
Dear friends, now let’s look at the Bible verses below that talk about following divine guidance.
